Has anyone ever made a baby sling?

I have seen loads of handmade slings on ebay and fancied having a go at making one myself. I found this website and there are loads of different types and I'm not too sure which one to do. I was just wondering if anyone has made one before and if so did it work and which type was it? Thanks!

I made a beautiful ring sling. I used crinkle fabric. It has a pocket as well. If you need rings let me know as I still have a few pairs which I could sell for cost.
