I have just crocheted dd's cardigan. I can't post it because it so unique. She choose the colours it gave me headache while doing it I had to take paracetamol. Grin Light blue, yellow and red. The only thing left is putting buttons on them. It will be good for the autumn.

DearMrDilkington · 11/06/2017 12:28

Oh that's lovely! I wish I could make things like thatEnvy

missmoohoo · 11/06/2017 12:29

I love your star. It will make a lovely blanket. Are you going to do lots of small ones or will you will keep going until its big enough?

ItchyFoot · 11/06/2017 12:41

I've just received some woolwarehouse vouchers so I'm also looking for my next crochet project. At the moment I'm torn between making a nice but practical storage bag or blowing all the vouchers and then some on doing dd one of those mermaid tail blankets!

PlymouthMaid1 · 11/06/2017 12:50

A baby blanket like yours OP but in Peter Rabbit colours. A moorland blanket from m Lucy at Attic 24 and a pair of socks and a hat as Christmas presents. I like to jump between projects.

A jumper for Woolly Hugs' refugee project using donated wool (very bright colours!).
I've been knitting and crocheting squares for Woolly Hugs and also some fish for a local sea project (I'm going to see the finished net with its catch tomorrow).

Attic 24 hydrangea blanket. It's a very simple pattern. Just what I like.

I'm making a bouquet. :)
My DD is getting married in a few weeks and doesn't want to throw her actual bouquet, so asked me if I could crochet one.
It's not finished yet, I think I have enough flowers though or it risks being too big. So perhaps a couple more rosebuds and it'll be ready to put together.

I'm doing the Attic 24 coast ripple blanket. But slightly hampered by the arrival of two teeny tiny kittens who need a box to snooze in...

diamantegal · 26/06/2017 00:25

And now with the picture..

I've just resumed making crochet squares for a blanket/throw. I taught myself to crochet several years ago, made a few nice squares and then kind of gave up. I've had to pretty much re-teach myself from the beginning again! I find knitting much easier, but I love the look of crochet so I'm determined to stick at it this time!

I'm upcycling/repurposing glass jars collected from Freecycle. Decorated the lid of the big one with paper tape from East of India and glued ribbon to the smaller one. These jars were mouldering in someone's garage Grin

(The glue is now dry and invisible, I was too impatient to wait taking a pic!)

IDoDaChaCha · 11/08/2017 09:09

diamantegal love your blanket, so pretty

IDoDaChaCha · 11/08/2017 09:18

Painted these glass candle holders (also from Freecycle) with an iridescent nail varnish(!) last night. It's made a pretty pattern as well as a subtle mother of pearl glow. Much more fun than painting my nails Smile

I've got a million projects on the go - not recommended - but my main one is learning to crochet. I'm making Dd a chunky scarf and she would like me to finish the ends with Pom poms

stumblymonkeyagain · 11/08/2017 10:11

I'm making some of my wedding favours...it's a December wedding so I'm making all the women a felt Christmas decoration of their pet if they have one, and a generic cat if they don't (as I'm known as being crazy about animals).

Can't seem to attach a pic though Sad

IDoDaChaCha · 13/08/2017 11:16

Upcycling my old but very comfortable Ecco shoes. Not finished yet, more coats of paint to go but really pleased so far

I have a mountain of brightly coloured odd socks that I am turning into phone socks (personal use only Grin) and I am about to starting cutting up our old white cot blankets to turn into a patchwork throw for the sofa. I have recently fingerknitted a small mountain of bracelets and choker necklaces, having accidentally become addicted to the soothing monotony of it.

IDoDaChaCha · 14/08/2017 08:06

Harriet any pics? Intrigued re phone socks

Marcipex · 15/08/2017 21:41

The Campfire Cardigan. I'd be finished now but I didn't like the first colour way so started again.

HarrietSchulenberg · 16/08/2017 01:20

IDoDaChaCha pic for you. Ds3's outgrown socks magically transformed into phone sock (right) and matching ipod warmer Grin.
My kids disown me when I allow one into public view. They also hate the jeans/trousers bags I used to make, but I always get compliments when they see the light of day.
