Knitters, quick question

Has anyone done a 2 colour loopy cardigan???

I would like to knit a pink and white one for my friend who has just had a baby, but wondered how much bigger the size would come up compared to one knitted with just one colour, or would it not make much difference??

Oh I'm sorry, I don't really know what a loopy cardigan is. I can't see in general how using two colours would make something bigger though, unless you were knitting with both strands together?
