Minky dimple fabric in the UK

Has anyone seen any fabric like this available for sale in stores in the UK?

I can find plenty on line but really want to be able to feel the fabric first or get a recommendation. In the past I've found quality/weight of these sorts of fabrics really variable from online sources

Cuddle Plush sell it.

If you google hemp towelling fabrics or towelling fabrics for nappies you might find others. Not sure if Truro fabrics have it but they used to.

Just read your inline comment - unlikely that you will happen to live near a shop someone has seen it in!

I know you said not on-line, but I have ordered plush fabrics from Plush Addict and it was super quality. Way better than you will pick up from any market stall , which is probably the only other option.

Are you anywhere near Birmingham? I've never looked for minky myself but the Fancy Silk Store in Brum has a phenomenal range of other fabrics. I'm sure they'd be very helpful if you phoned or emailed to ask. You'd also then be very close to the rag market to see if any of the teasers there stock it.

Hole in the Wall in Walsall had it in stock recently too.

Try Plush Addicts online shop, they will send you samples but I use their dimple plush to back all of my baby quilts. It's really nice quality and stands up to repeated washes and tumble drying really well.
