I have been die cutting for about 8 years with a cuttlebug (CB) but would like to replace it - broken handle, uneven cutting and small plates being the main issues. I can't decide which to go for so I'm asking if any of you have any advice.

My current thoughts are -
Platinium - doesn't come with the A4 plates so would have to buy them separately, but the idea of the magnetic plate would be great.
Tangerine - comes with the A4 plates but doesn't have a base for me to feed the plates in on if that makes sense. The cuttlebug (and Platinium) have horizontal 'flaps' which I can lay the plates on and layer/position dies/card etc on so that I can use both hands , one to hold the machine firm and the other to turn the handle if that makes sense. The suction pads on the CB have never been strong enough to hold it in place.

I also have some of the thicker CB dies so not sure which they would work with although it is not essential that they do.

Please help me decide and thanks in advance!
