I'm TRYING to crochet a nice toy for the littlest one...
I bought a pattern, which I've ignored somewhat
I also spent best part of 4 quid a ball on DMC Natura XL yarn (6 balls of the stuff) and I've tried crocheting with it. I really have tried. I've ignored the colours being somewhat more dull than they appear online and persevered for nearly a fortnight.
I keep having to undo it and retwisting it as the cotton strands keep splitting and it looks awful and it won't stand up well to being played with and is quite stiff
So I'm looking for an alternative...
Preferably chunky, soft, cheap.
Help?
