Free things to do with a 2yr old

Hi I need a few ideas that are new and exciting to do with a 2yo boy. We have some things planned for the holidays but not much new. I'm a teacher so I've got some ideas and Pinterest is a good source but I struggle to keep his attention for too long and end up doing things by myself.

Don't worry if it takes a bit of planning for things as I'm still at work till Friday. It's just all the things to do out and about are all easter themed and by the time I'm off for easter holidays it's all over and I have two weeks to fill.

Ideally free things to do as money is tight now we are saving for my DB wedding and a house deposit.

Make a den (indoor or out)
Make Easter biscuits
Easter egg hunt at home

Your local church might have the opportunity for children to help with the Easter garden on Saturday (if that's your sort of thing).

Oh yeah. I never thought of church on Saturday. He's in the easter parade already at church on Sunday so I might see if they want any help with finishing touches. I'm a catholic school teacher so we are in school still and have two weeks holiday AFTER easter and all the local places are only doing easter things this week.
