Drawing / painting on shoes

Mum gave me some DM sandals last year, that are ever so comfy, , and i love them, but they are a bit of a non descript colour...sort of beige/yellow/taupe/ sort of thing...

can i 'jazz' them up a bit? any paints/ pens that are up to drawing on leather, that won;t come off in the rain?

I think acrylic paint (from art/craft shops) works for painting on leather.
Forms a sort of plastic when exposed to air.

Dylon have a website here .
They do loads of dyes, including shoe dyes.

Gotta look after those feet
