dd loves to do sticking and all sorts. the kids have a craft box but we have no room for a table, sticking and painting gets done on the floor. i HATE glue, hate it, am fed up of picking it off everything. what can i get for dd instead. i know they do sticky dots for card making, double sided tape etc but my three year old is obviously going to have problems with that and wont let me help!

What about those foam sticky pad things with peel off bits on either side? I think they're made by Pritt Stick.

Flour and water?

What about glue sticks (bit like lipstick thingy shape ... you know...) not quite so messy as runny glue.

We use masking tape at school and nursery. Small children can tear pieces of it themselves. You can also paint over it.

How about a glue pen?

Or maybe only buy those little shapes you lick and stick?

What about the rollers that have sticky tape in them? A lot of craft shops have them now, Do Crafts brought some out a little while ago and I think you can get similar ones from Tescos.

You'd have to show a child which way up to hold it though.

Well, I'm an Art teacher and am completely stumped by your message, can't think of anything.....apart from pritt!

Ooh yes, Pritt Mouse is a little hand held thing with double-sided tape inside which you roll onto the paper. So easy to use, and it looks like a mouse!!
