baby safe paint?

Does anyone know of any brand or where to buy paint that is safe for 6 months+. I have searched the net and only seem to be able to find 2 yrs+. I would love to get messy and have a painting session with my DS ( 6 months) but it WILL go into his mouth!I am sure there must be something out there, or is it fine to use the older stuff?

The Living Colours paints here are non-toxic but are maybe not gloopy enough for what you have in mind.
