Ideas for non edible easter nests

As cheaply as possible, something to put the little sugared eggs in. This is for a kids to do so something fairly easy. I have a few ideas but would be interested to see if you crafty types have any more. Thank you

Do you have a home shredder?
You could run thin card from the Pound Shop through that and use the results to mould using PVA mixed with brown paint?
