Drops Nepal Yarn

I am going to knit with Drops Nepal for the first time but all the Drops sweater patterns I have seen on line are for circular needles. I am a two needle knitter so lost when it comes to circular knitting. Does anyone know of an equivalent UK pattern that would work with this yarn. I want to knit one man's sweater and also a woman's sweater.

I would:
(1) get yourself on Ravelry and do an advanced search for patterns using yarns with the same characteristics as Drops Nepal. Or an advanced search for projects using Drops Nepal. One thing you can search for is "worked flat" though patterns are not always marked up correctly in this respect, or:
(2) Get some circular needles and have a go. It's great once you get the hang of it. If you're unsure I'd recommend starting with a straightforward beanie hat.

NB the search for "worked flat" is under Attributes/Construction.

I'm a bit fan of knitting in the round, although I will say I think adult clothes benefit from the greater structure that comes with being knit flat and then constructed afterwards. I would still knit them on circular needles, though - can't be doing with the straight ones :)

Drops Nepal is an aran, so roughly what in US terms is called a worsted weight. You will find masses of choice on Ravelry as Cycle says. There is a tag for worked flat (look under Construction Options in advanced search) and also seamed.

You might want to look at Amy Herzog's CustomFit, where you can basically build a pattern for your exact measurements and gauge.

I did a search on recommended sweater projects for Drops and it popped up the Kate Davies classic owls (that is knit in the round) - Boxy which can be knit mostly flat, and Beatnik.

There's not a huge choice of knit flat options. I did a more general search on sweater patterns for worsted and aran, I searched using 'NOT in the round' and it's come back with a few, including this one and this one.
