I have a big chest of drawers full of yarn, almost entirely odd balls/part balls

I need to reduce it.

I like Fio's idea. Maybe the next time we make an MN blanket it should be a free for all with any old type of yarn? (no, maybe not). There are books of projects you can do with one ball....

I have been trying to start de-cluttering my stash in preperation for this extension!!! LOL- yeah like it's gonna make a difference.
BUT I have used up a few scraps of papers on toppers and a few odds of wool on basic corsages.

here on my blog

My mum is knitting/crocheting blankets and squares just to give them away in a charity bag!!

Would love to do some sort of event for my Down Syndrome group with it- but wouldn't know where to start- pehaps one day I will more time to think, plan and organise. Something like that project knitting scarves for the lions in Trafalgar Suare or knitting the river!!LOL.

You've not missed anything I got sent some cut out silhouettes from Lakeland by mistake a couple of months ago. I sent them to Whizzz with an Ikea light she asked me to get

Yarn of any sort reminds me how much of a disappointment i was to my grandmother & mother because I can't bear knitting

Dingle · 25/02/2007 21:02

LOL! Well Pruni- I am a bit weird too!
It's my blog, but there is only sort of woven flower corsages on there and one knitted one. The other crafty stuff is all papercrafts.

Sorry I didn't edit my cut and paste properly...got 2 http's in the link!

Fubsy · 25/02/2007 21:02

I dont want to reduce my stash. Its the only part of the bedroom that is tidy, I look at it and admire it frequently.
