using hair straighteners on hama beads

Has anyone tried this? Does it work, will it result in melted Hama boards or ruined GHD? Or is it a good alternative if i can't be arsed to get the iron out?

Never tried it as I don't own straighteners but I'd give it a go as I'm very lazy.

Maybe insulate the baord side so it doesn't melt?

hemlock I'm very lazy too, exactly the reason im considering it, the beads have already been on the dresser since boxing day and DD keeps pulling me up on when I'm going to iron them for her ... Will attempt it this eve with straighteners I think, maybe with a teal towel on the other side of the board katy thanks for that idea!
