I want to make ds a stocking to match his sisters (which I bought but they no longer make).

I can make the stocking all ok but I need "To ds love from Santa" embroidered on a piece of fabric. I can show you a pic of the one I need to match it to. Am obviously willing to pay!

Thank you

Aha!
That is very lovely and very neat, so probably it has been done on a computerised machine with set fonts...I do not own such a thing :(

Sorry, my machining would be much more fluid and scruffy and more like handwriting.

try looking up personalised stockings on not-on-the-high-street? someone on there might do them.

If you have Facebook have a look at the group uk machine embroidery. There will be someone on there who can do it. It's also worth looking up school uniform places especially those who make to order and can monogram jumpers etc. The text in your pic is a set font for many embroidery machines and they will have machines. Our local one does one offs like this. Another option is craft shops where they personalise teddies, t shirts etc.

I have a machine but I'm out of action due to a broken arm at the moment and can't even hoop stuff up to go on the machine. Ive tried teaching dh and dds but it's not going well! Sorry otherwise I would do itSad
