So today I started knitting again!

In between seeing dhs doctor, and dh having his chemo, we went into town for lunch and I bought some wool.

As well as getting some plain wool for the DNA scarf, I also got some fabbo 'strandy' wool to make a scarf for dd.

I have already done over six inches as it 'grows' very quickly.

All the ladies in the chemo unit stopped and chatted, it was quite the mother meeting.....dh and I are the youngest pair there by about 20 years and all the other patients treat us like irresponsible teenagers, it is rather fun.

So, thanks to the amazing MN blanket, I've had a really good day!

Oh hoorah mb I knew we'd reel you back into the fold somehow. I like the idea of the people there treating you and dh like irresponsible teenagers!

One older lady was s taken with my scarf she is going to buy some wool tomorrow. She said it will help to take her mind off her chemo.

So the magic of MN is passed on

I've heard of people saying that before, that it helps when you're having chemo and you're just too tired to read. Lovely that you've inspired someone else.
