I am not crafty at all

DD needs to make a chocolate factory this weekend using a shoebox.

Can you suggest what can go in it? I don't want to spend a fortune and can't think how to help her start! Crafters please help!
I don't mind buying a few bits. Feel a bit panicked!

Ok...this isn't hard. Depends how you approach it..

Turn the box on it's side...so you're looking at it as you do a doll's house.

Cover the exterior in some shiny purple or gold fabric...like wrapping a present. Do it with prit stick.

The interior you want to make busy and chocolatey...rig up a conveyor belt using electrical tape, cardboard and cotton reels. Have it feeding into a loo roll tube which you've also covered in shiny gold or purple paper...and glue chocolate buttons onto it!

Make or use plastic figures to be working on the production line. At the back of the "scene" stick a sign...on it write something like Super Chocolate Factory or whatever name you can think of that's better than Super Chocolate factory!

That'll do!

Does this picture help? pic

That looks like actual melted chocolate to me, but you could always just use something brown and shiny for the river. Maybe leave out the little penises people and go with general sweet-based decorations? You can then eat the leftovers Grin

You are clever. Thanks so much both
