Hi all,

We are trying to make some thank you flower pots for my sons teachers. He's leaving to go big school this year and they have been amazing with him.
I heard terracotta pots bubble once painted so was unsure whether to use these. Has anyone had any experience?
I wanted to use some pots that have already been painted then my son be able to paint over it with drawings etc. But as they are glossed, wasn't sure if the paint would just come off straight away too.
Can anyone help? Thanks x

You would really need to use a ceramic paint, it paints on & then gets baked in the oven. You can use it on terracotta pots or ready glazed. It tends to sink into terracotta, so you use more paint, so a plain white glazed pot would be best - check your local art shop for a kit
