cost of fabric?

ive got no idea how much is too much? on ebay, fat quarters (18"x22") are about £1.65. is that a good price?

Depending on what kind of fabric - I would expect that to be thin cotton - that's probably not a bad price, but watch the postage charge. Embellished or designer fabric fat quarters tend to be more expensive. If you have the time and energy to do it, sometimes it works out cheaper to buy a yard of fabric, and then sell what you don't need as fat quarters.
