I'm hoping that someone might be able to give me some information and advice about setting up an after school sewing club.
I already run a Rainbows group so it is less advice on what to do at the club and more about the practicalities.
If it is run at the school as a school club will I need some sort of insurance or will I be covered by the school's insurance?
How many adults per child would I need for a sewing club for children aged 7-11?
I run a sewing business so I think I'll be able to use leftovers to cover most of the supplies needed but are there other costs I haven't considered. I'd really like to make it a free club if possible.
If you run an after school club how did you set it up. Did you write to the head teacher or the office?
Any other tips? Thank you in advance for any help.
