Just that really. Currently got a baby blanket on the go so can't take that, but I'll go crazy if I don't take something. I'm beginner+ level.

Something not too hot to hold, like a net bag or a string vest. A pretty, lacy string vest, that you can wear over a t-shirt or vest top. Cotton or cotton-viscose. Check out Ravelry.

If you're confident without a pattern, you could just choose a lacy stitch pattern and work it in the round until you decide whether to turn it into a bag or a top!

Thanks both, i had to think on my feet as only just seen you replies, been packing all afternoon. I've packed a baby cardi and a pram blanket I'm really enjoying and didn't want to leave behind.
