Dd1 is getting a bit old for playgrounds but we still go with the younger ones and sometimes her friend. The other day she enjoyed some loom bands although they are soooo three years ago . I am wondering whether there are other craft pursuits which she and a friend can do which aren't messy - some parks don't have washing facilities, easy (while I push swings), cooler than loom bands and time limited so they can achieve something there or a friend can take home to finish off. Something I can teach her and she can do on her own would be great. She can knit the odd granny square but really looking for something a bit more instant than knitting.
Yr6 but something yr4/5 sister might enjoy too would be great.
