Sewers - It's the Alteration Challenge!

When we lived in Singapore, my Mum collected loads of beautiful linens. I have recently rediscovered them and really want to use them. One or two pieces just won't do, though, so I thought I would try to make something of them.
This is an antimacassar, one of 4, I think. There are matching cushion covers which I think I would like to keep as they are.
What can I do with this? Not necessarily soft furnishing. Only one end is scalloped. The pattern is embroidered.
You don't need to impress Patrick and Esme but I would love it if you could give me some ideas, please!

Sew them together to make a tablecloth or runner?

Use them as antimacassars?

Take the scalloped edge and the embroidery, and somehow tweak them into a small girl's sundress with ribbon straps? Or as skirt?

How big is it?

Can you sew the 4 together, gather the non scalloped edge and make a skirt?

Could you cut them into triangles (isosceles with the shortest side being the scalloped edge) and then attach them all to make a circle, then either make a table cloth or a circle skirt?

Depending on the size, try google for pillowcase dress pattern, you would have to use another fabric of similar weight for the back of course, but it would make a pretty dress for a small child.

Make cushion covers.

Thanks ever so much. I already have some square cushion covers (matching) so perhaps not that. I imagine I have 4 so probably not enough for a skirt, great ideas though. I think favorite would have to be a dress for a little girl, just with ribbon straps maybe.

I would make something more permanent so I could keep them forever with the cushion covers.

Nice drawstring bags for the back of a door, maybe even only using one of them as a panel on the front with a piece of linen in one of the colours of the embroidery as the back and front sides.

That way you could have one cushion with each bag or two in a double bedroom with two lovely bags hanging on the back of the door.

I would sew the channel for the string a couple of inches down from the top so you had a fairly classic double fold and use a cotton twill tape as the drawstring.

This sort of bag structure. Depending on whether the panel was long enough it could be the whole centre front, but with the curved edge you might have to sew it on another ' whole ' front of your contrasting fabric.

Pillowcase edging? Trim for hand towels? Laundry bag when travelling?
