What is the best (strong) craft glue?

Just that really. I have 3 DC who love craft and with the long summer ahead I need some strong glue. It's for the usual stuff fabric/wool/card/plastic etc. I am happy to buy a couple of different types if it's good. We normally use PVA but it's not very strong and DD1 (14) likes to make things that will last or as gifts. Any suggestions grateful thanks.

Get a glue gun. They're the best...

Glue gun! They are only £5 or so. A complete revelation, I love my glue gun.

A sensible 14 year old would be fine, younger DC would obviously require help/supervision.

Yes, I bought a very cheap glue gun in Tiger recently and wonder how we ever did without it.

That's great thanks, I always thought glue guns were really expensive so never looked into them.
