Think it's gorgeous, and was thinking of seat pad covers, but my dh has pointed out that by the time I bought the foam inners and piping stuff I might not make any kind of profit.

So I thought placemats and coasters, but not sure, and I'm ,I sing heart.

Any ideas on what I could make with it, and hopefully make some sort of profit?

Pic attached. Thanks in advance

It's so pretty! An apron? A carrier bag tube? A carrier bag?

OhtoblazeswithElvira · 01/07/2016 17:31

Big front pocket on aprons?

scurryfunge · 01/07/2016 17:31

Tea towels?

thatsn0tmyname · 01/07/2016 17:31

Depends how much you have. I like a kitchen pocket organiser on a hanger, backed onto a plain fabric. No idea if they have a proper name.

ThursFriHappy · 01/07/2016 17:31

Losing heart, that as meant to say. It's medium weight 100%,cotton linen French patissiere vintage. And a bit creased lol.

I was going to say an apron, maybe even mother and child apron sets? Or shopping bags?

Buddahbelly · 01/07/2016 17:32

Same as above, an apron would look lovely in that, or a carrier bag, if you have enough google how to make a venetian blind (is is venetian im thinking of? the folded fabric type) for your kitchen. Id even think about pressing it and putting in a frame

An apron is a good idea as are tea towels, thank you.
At least they are nice and easy lol. Will look for tutorials for an apron

Tea cosy or cafetière wrap (always sold well for me), line baskets with it for bread or cakes?

Mitfordhons · 02/07/2016 10:18

How will you be selling it? Only interested as I sew and keep thinking I should start selling.

Mrsraypurchase · 02/07/2016 10:42

Tea towels would be lovely. I would buy them!

PeaceOfWildThings · 02/07/2016 10:46

Napkins (would make excellent gifts) ; gift bags; lining for a strong gift box/kitchen storage box/keepsakes box; lining of a zipped tote bag (waterproof on outside)...

raeray · 02/07/2016 10:53

My first thought was tea towels too!
Lovely material Op!

ThursFriHappy · 03/07/2016 15:34

Mitfordhons, was thinking about setting up a page on Etsy. Supposedly cheaper than EBay.

Will be opening a page when I have things to actually sell! 😀

Wow, more ideas !!

May have to buy more material at this rate !!
Tea towels and napkins are a favourite, but also thinking lunch bags?
Mrsraypurchase, I'll have a go at making tea towels with it, and you can have first refusal!

I'll post them on here when done :)

Bunting would be really pretty in that print

PeaceOfWildThings · 03/07/2016 22:13

Oh yes, those wipable sandwich wraps would be great, with clear plastic over, and a plain cotton outer layer (just add a velcro strip to close it around a sandwich).

Mrsraypurchase · 04/07/2016 07:25

Yes please!

Buddahbelly · 04/07/2016 10:40

Big thumbs up to etsy! Never bothered with ebay but for handcrafts etsy has been fab.

frenchfancy · 04/07/2016 19:46

If you made an apron in a plain colour and used the pattern for a big pocket on the front you could make the more expensive material go further.

ThursFriHappy · 24/07/2016 16:39

Hello..

Re: tea towels I promised I'd make.
Bit smaller than I wanted, they are 20-21 inches, more square than rectangular.
I love 'em :)

Lovely! Is there a link to Etsy?

ThursFriHappy · 24/07/2016 22:27

Mrsraypurchase

I have opened an account with Etsy, but not created an online shop yet, as I'm trying to build up stock first.

I have an EBay account that I'm currently using for other things if that helps, and I could advertise them on there at a specific time that's convenient for you, so you can get there first?
Let me know if ok, then I can PM you my eBay name, lovely that you are still interested, thanks x
