painting letters on a wall

I'd like to try and paint some quotes on a classroom wall in large letters, nice font.

Is there an easy way to go about this? I'm no artist! What paint would I use? It's for a busy school corridor. Can I busy easy stencils?

Overhead projector, then trace in pencil and paint. I'd use acrylic paint but that's probably not a great idea for the school as it'd be permanent! Or buy a couple of tester pots of wall paint?

Kitty thanks. How would I get the font I want on the acetate though?

You get special acetates for photocopiers.

If you are linked to a secondary school, get them to cut them out in vinyl on the laser cutter. Then just peel of the backing and stick them on.

Emoji! Tell me more! We have a lazer cutter! What would I need to get?
