I'd buy new. You might want to look at the Juki - HZL 353z £269.00 from Franklins. I think your nearest is Ipswich.

Always good to have a back up machine Grin

Do I need an engineering degree to drive it?

No its a plug and play, no fancy computer screen - good basic work horse. I know a lady who is a full time dressmaker who has one plus a more sophisticated Pfaff.

My posh machine is Juki - HZL G120, I was a bit scared of it at first Blush I'm the boss of it now though Grin

Having to sew with my Singer & it's a dream sewing silk I think it might fail on Lycra tho'

Maybe I should see if I can get the overlocker working & just use that & the Singer? Until I've actually sold something?

Is that too negative?
