Pathetically chuffed knitting Twiglett (and snack-size is kinda chuffed too)

I am knitting a scarf for DS's 6th birthday in february .. he is so chuffed he has told all his class

it is an alien illusion scarf .. now you see it, now you don't

and it bloody works .. there's 4 photos so click back

ok, I've made 1 mistake, but I can live with it cos its only the 3rd thing I've ever knitted in my life

At last!! Internet is working again (probably a temporary situation) so I've seen the photos and it's great, Twiglett! I should think most small boys would be rather keen to have one.

Don't give up - it's brilliant! I've seen a lot of knitting and I've never seen an alien scarf like that before. Most impressed. (and with the photo link too)

C'mon, just the one alien between you and triumph. You can do it. It's not even February yet.

Twig - stick on a TV programme you really want to watch when you really ought to be doing something else. Then justify it by knitting at the same time.

Oh, alternatively, have a family member need to go to a clinic so you end up in a waiting room for two hours with nothing to do except read Hello! magazines that are three years out of date. Bring the knitting along.
