Not sure there will be room in there for DH's exercise bike; although DD's piano will fit

It's exciting having new rooms to fill if only I could get rid of all the stuff

I have a piano in my sewing area. I often nick the stool to see using my overlocker

The pics are DD - I haven't been that size since I was her age

I'm a slightly depressing 40, 30, 38

DD & I have matching chairs so no sharing necessary.....

I can't wait to fill it - I may start decorating tomorrow

My work area is my lap

Mind if I had a work station like that my cats would be asleep in the drawer baskets, the shelves, definitely on top of any fabric (the more expensive/fragile the better) and my big girl cat would try her best to sleep in that flower pot.

AntiqueSinger all you need to do is start a business work really hard at it for 13 years being a real success until the government change the rules so you can't even break even never mind, make a profit - sell all your tools/equipment for a tiny amount & use your old dining table (that used to seat 12 toddlers) as a sewing table in the room that the babies used to sleep in.......

I'm rubbish at names and stuff like that I'm afraid but I'm always up for a sewalong if you're anywhere near me (London atm). I am seriously rubbish though!

Yeah a virtual mumsnet skype sew along would be amazing! I just finished these two yesterday for DD.

I haven't had the best year either but I am hopeful for the next one. There are big changes afoot here, too, and I don't find that easy. But in a while I think I'll be fine, we just have to get the stressful bit over with.

Ahhh sorry your feeling a bit down Katymac. Hell, my last two years have been pretty crappola too. But as you say onwards and upwards! Remember you've been a success once and you will be a success again in a different form, and you're very talented. I'm sure the future has much better things in store for you!
