Any die-cutters/papercrafters around for adhesive advice?

I've just bought myself a Sizzix Big Shot Plus and am like a kid in a sweet shop! I want to use it in conjunction with things like Faber Gelatos and Zentangling, but also for making cards and anything else I can think of. I watched a video yesterday on YouTube where the person had some sort of adhesive gun - I think she referred to it as a tape gun but I'm not sure.

Basically, I want to know your hot tips on how to stick the dies together or to a base. I have glue dots but what about for longer strips? I guess there's always the trusty Pritt Stick or PVA but they are not instant or precise. I also have a glue gun, but those things are messy, the glue always ends up in very thick blobs and I come away with about 16 burns . Help me save my fingers? Grin

Sailor www.amazon.co.uk/Sailor-Rolling-Ball-Glue-White/dp/B0029SC1HQ 2 in 1 pens are good for fiddly bits, I tend to add dst or stick-it sheets www.hobbycraft.co.uk/stick-it-adhesive-sheets-206-x-31-cm-5-pack/610496-1000 to the reverse before cutting to make the die cut shapes self adhesive

Oh see, now, that's far too easy! Grin

I have duly ordered some double-sided adhesive sheets. Thank you!
