Hi Dingle

I loved the papers you used when you kindly showed me your cards a little while back. Esp like the gingham and 'country' type looking ones - could you tell me where you get/got them from please?

I've had a look at a couple of online suppliers and they don't seem to stock them.

TIA

PS - Don't know if you saw but just got my Cricut machine and I LOVE it - it's fab and so quick and easy!! Can't wait to have a proper play at Xmas (it's a present from DH).

Thanks Whizzz

Because I make my cards to help fund raise for my Down Syndrome Group, I really try to keep costs as low as possible and to be honest I just grab bargains when and where I can as long as postage insn't too high.

I do obvoiusly have my fav suppliers though!!

A lot of my older gingham check cards were from papers I had downloaded and printed off.
If you want any more help, shout I will have a look through my favs and see where I got them from.

Is there a particular colour/print you are after?

Dingle · 15/12/2006 16:42

Oh yeah, not at all about the Cricut machine!!!! Enjoy it honey!!!!

Ok have found it!

The papers I like are:

The little red hearts on white and the red & white gingham (on reindeer sending xmas cheer toppers).

The tartan/check (on the Xmas teddy with love toppers)

The holly leaf on white paper (on Quirky reindeer toppers)

When you have a chance I'd love to know where I could get these papers from - no hurry as I know you are very busy.

Thanks for all your help!

LOL Twohoots- I know you're not Whizzz, sorry I replied in a rush (as usual)- Whizzz left a message for me on another forum that you had asked me a question on here.
I just thought I'd confuse matters!

I still have some of those papers, I'll see what makes they are and get back to you. I think the holly one (quirky reindeer) is from Craft Creations.

see code BP028 I've had some of those in my stash for years funny enough and not used them up to now.

Dingle · 16/12/2006 00:44

Oh...with some of the others I am not sure I can be of much help Twohoots!

The burgundy check and the little burgundy heart papers came from a QVC kit, again I've had that for a few years now. I may have got a similar check paper since though will check that out.

The tartan paper on "xmas teddies with love" came from a HOTP book, will have a look to see which one it is tomorrow...or should I say today!!

Twohootsunderthemistletoe · 16/12/2006 18:22

Thanks Dingle That website is really good as it's quite cheap! I think I could make some paper like that though myself (some of the written stuff anyway)! It's just time isn't it!

Don't worry about getting back to me on the other stuff - the CC website will give me some ideas to be going on with!

Thanks for all your help!

twohoots, look on my pic.trail site and you will see some scripted paper I made up last year...thinks it's used with 3 reindeers if I remember rightly. Yeap...you'll have to scroll right down to the first xmas card I loaded. HTHs.

BTW if you ever find any tartan like the one I used on the teddy card, please LMK as I would love to buy more by the sheet!

Twohootsunderthemistletoe · 18/12/2006 14:45

Dingle - I know you said you need to keep costs low... I was recommended this site by a UKS lady - it is fab for downloadable background sheets suitable for cards etc...

Don't know if it's any use to you!
