Machine Sewing soft leather?

I tried this but it wasn't idea - would a Zigzag stitch help?

Have you got a leatherneedle in your maschine? I have just sewn a scrapleather rucksack on the maschjne with a leatherneedle and normal theard with no problem.He this helpps

Leather is easy to sew. Get a leather needle and set the stitch length a little longer than normal, like you would do to hem jeans. You can't pin leather but bull clips or even prit-stick works for "basting" pieces together.
