Theatrical makeup for kids?

Also posted in Chat but no getting any takers…

I am trying to track down some theatrical makeup for DD7. She watches a lot of makeup tutorials on youtube - fantasy stuff like recreating bratz dolls and cartoon characters.

She would like to have a go for herself but have used normal face paints before and found the texture too dry and the colours not deep/ opaque enough for what she has in mind. Having done a little bit of looking around it seems to be a choice between ineffectual kids stuff or professional makeup artist quality stuff. Am looking for something in between really and preferably not Hallowe'en/ zombie type makeup as she is not really into that.

Thanks

I love Kryolan. It's professional makeup for the stage....

I use this set for various things.

The colours are very pigmented and though it looks small it goes a LONG way. I've had mine for ages.

You'd have to teach her how to blend the colours without messing up the discs....and teach her that a little goes a long way. Get her some brushes and sponges....the natural skin colours are good for highlighting and contouring and the bright ones for lips and bright eyes.

Just to add, it's smooth to apply, a bit on the greasy side without being gross...perfect for smaller hands to manage really as she won't have to "scrub" the makeup to get it on the brush or sponge.

I see it's actually out of stock but that specific palette is widely available online.
