Tea cosy

Hi I have recently started to crochet and would like to make a tea cosy but my teapot is not a standard round shape.

Can anyone help me work out how to make one with the correct tapering.
Thanks

I have just made a t cosy from an idea on here. Basically I made two squares. Sewed them together leavening a hole for the handle and another for the spout in the seam. Gathered in the top.

I really like your teapot.

Thank you, that's a good idea and I could easily do that. I had seen a similar design and thought it was tapered but I like the gathered top.

Knitted, not crocheted, but I found this the other day:
