I have just bought a size 12 Jeager floor length fluted wool skirt with embroidery around the bottom. Both the skirt and the embroidery are grey. It's the sort of garment that would appear on the sewing bee and be turned into a dress or something.
I am tempted to just take it in and give it a bit more shape, but I'm wondering if I could get a short skirt and something else too, the first thing that sprang to mind was a waist coat but I'm not a huge fan of them.
I have zero imagination when it comes to transforming things, does anyone have any ideas or know of any sites/blogs? I have looked on Pintrest but not seen much that caught my eye.
