Is there any software you can buy for scrapbooking where you have a background and you can move or put images on it add letters to make a name, then print them out

I've just bought some scrapooking stuff of QVC but thats all hard copy.

This will be my first attempt at scrapbooking any help would be gratefully received

Caroline- can I give you the best bit of advice- go to UKScrappers and have a look in general scrapping - the adopt a newbie section.

Not sure what you're asking here but I have cardstock/patterned papers and start from there

Thanks PF
No wonder you're confused with the question I asked I've had a look at the UKscrappers. I thought you did all the layout digitaly then print it off and I can see now it doesn't happen that way. I'm just going to download Paint shop pro and see how it all happens.
Thanxs again

There is a category of scrapping where you do it digitally but I personally don't. I like to feel the paper and rip it, caress it, ink it, get down and be dirty wit ink and paint lol.

Seriously though, have a look at the sponsors on UKS for some fab products. Or is there a chance you can get to a 'proper' scrapping shop. If you give a locale I can say which sponsor is near you so that you can touch the paper etc

look at the digital scrapping section. theirs lots of scrappin software out there, try some trial versions to see which you like. There's tons of digi freebies onlie too.

I want to make a scrapbook for my husband for christmas and I want to make it about his scooter days. I've got some little die cuts of scooters of ebay and I've managed to get hold of some old photos.

Your right PF it will be better making it out of the stuff I got from QVC. I guess I just don't know where to start. Looking at the websites you've recommened has been a great help. I'm going to start tonight. I'll let you know how I get on.
Thanks girl

just start with the photo caroline, see what paper matches, rip it or cut it a bit if necessary, add some embellies, buttons, flowers, ribbon, brads, eyeletts whatever you have to hand. Do a bit of inking- whatever takes your fancy. Have fun is the most iimportant thing xxxx
