They are 8 and 10yrs.

Am hoping to make 2007 a less TV year!

Not different exactly but I would really recommend good felt-tips like Berol. Like yours, mine are almost old enough now to understand that excellent colour coverage and brightness are worth paying extra for and having fewer shades (have had 1000s of cheap, rubbish pens)
Same goes for Stabilo pencils - mine love the chubby Woody wax pencils - glorious bright colours and can be used like crayons. Not hugely expensive but worth every single penny

Here are our favourites.
Studiotac
Lakeland have wonderful glue pens that are really like pens - you can do a fine line of glue.
Good quality colouring pencils
Good quality fine glitter
Glue gun
Gold, silver and white gel pens
Calligraphy pens.
A card folding board and a scoring tool
Lots of different coloured A5 cards for using with the board.

Do you mean contents or the box itself?

mrsnoah · 30/11/2006 22:09

Marina good point . I used to get the Morrisons £1 for abiout 30 but they never worked really.

Yes I do mean the contents. I am in love with Myriad online (cant do links am hopeless) but so expensive,.

Have bought dd1 a lovely wooden chest to keep stuff in, that I hope she will keep forever.

Katelyle, thanks for that. Where do you buy your cards from they are so expensive? Cheapest I have found is 20p for cardand envelope.
