Storage for children's crafts things

How do you store your children's crafts things?

We've currently got everything crammed into a box - pencils, crayons, paper, pipe cleaners, stickers, googly eyes, paintbrushes, random bits of crap, etc. It's overflowing and pretty much unusable except for the top layer.

I'd like get some sort of organiser that has different drawers for everything - does anyone have something like this? Or any other solutions?

Mine is kind of crammed into a box. It's a big wooden chest . . . although the things they use regularly like pens and paper can generally be found ALL over my living room!

I've used these for years, they're really durable, come in loads of sizes, and also do a mini 'drawer' type one which contains 16 mini boxes on a shelving unit - I have 15 of those.

I use a coloured dot sticker system, so I know which box goes back into which shelf.

They're also sold in stores and I've now even seen them on market stalls.

Probably not much help as they're rare as hen's teeth. But I once found a classic 1960s' art station in a skip. Didn't realise what it was til I looked it up on the internet, years later. It's brilliant for pens and pencils, etc. Apparently there's one in the Museum of Modern Art in New York! Mine is identical, but paler orange:

ETA: Originals might be rarer, but I just looked it up online and they're still being made. A search for 'Boby' by Joe Colombo should pull up some new versions in less screamingly 60s' colours! (Which reminds me - must get it out of the shed and clean it up!)
