I am looking for a tea cosy pattern (rock and roll I know Smile.

I can't crochet so it must be knitted. Small sized teapot (1 mug/2 cup sized).

I like this one but it is crocheted.

Can anyone suggest anything - is for a 11 year old who has developed a love of tea!

Thank you polter, I hadn't and like it Smile. Thankfully my computer remembered my login because I didn't.

The tea pot I have bought is this size - tiny

Do you think it is possible to see how big it is without downloading it and working it out or am I missing something.

I like knitting in the round - have only used my new set of lovely needles twice Grin.

Thanks, I thought about that when I saw this one after I had posted. I might just make the little one without the ribs and 'embellish' it!

Have said this many times ..... but I only knit one thing a year! I am not that quick and get bored after a few rows of an adult size piece so it takes me a year to knit a sweater!

I think the ribs might help it fit more snuggly, I'd keep them in.

I like the pesky rabbit on ravelry, sorry can't link

lavendersun · 31/08/2015 05:17

Thank you both. Not sure I have got the patience for the pesky rabbit red, I weave instead of knit generally because I am so productive on my loom by comparison! All those little details are not really for me even though they are glorious.

I could leave the ribs in but if I go for the snail it will be a snail with ribs. I found a lovely felted one on Ravelry, I love felted wool, maybe an option.
