Photo shows DD's dress in progress, squares are temporarily held together so I can check size & fit.

My dilemma is whether I should use cream, dark brown or black wool to "sew" the squares together.
what do you think?

Cream and try to keep the stitches at the back as much as possible. Nice to see you about. How are you doing?

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 03/08/2015 17:25

I'm ok thanks, you?
the stitches will be a "feature", let me post another to show you

See the cream seam between the lilac and aqua squares?
That's how I'll do it. And cream was my first instinct too.
But the I started wondering if black might make the colours pop a bit more.
or maybe black is too"old" for a 3 yo and dark brown might be better as a softer version of black.

Cream because it balances with the cream centres.

Cream, I think.

Still would go with the cream, even if it is a bit more visible. I'm ok, but have been struggling a bit with a sore foot. Has been going on for a couple of months and is not letting up much.

I think the cream will tie it all together whereas another colour would just be adding another colour into the mix.
