Do you think this is a good price?

I've started tie-dyeing various baby things and I've now got the chance to exhibit and sell my stuff at a local 'Artists and Makers' Christmas do, which has lots of fairly pricey handmade things for sale.

My things aren't amazing art, but they are bright, funky and unusual (IMHO!) I want to make as much £ as poss (to pay back entry fee and commission!), but don't want to take the mick, so do you think these prices are reasonable (think Xmas shopping, stocking pressie type things amongst expensive arts and crafts...)

Muslin £3, baby vest £5, sleepsuit, £6.50, baby hat £3, cellular cotton blanket (cot size) £8, baby socks £1.50

I know it's difficult to say without pics, but I'd appreciate any feedback - ta!!

how much did it cost youto mke them? taking into account all thematerials?
then give yourself a wage. something per hour, whtever.
froom there you cn price them as a minimum.
the prices you sy sound fine, but obviously ccant say without pictures. and you do need to cover cost of materils.

For me it would depend on the quality of the original materials.

I'd also want to know they were colourfast, obviously.

They do sound like a pleasant change to the usual bland baby colours ...

Well it would give me between 50p (socks) and £3 (sleepsuit)profit. TBH, doing it has kept me sane in the last few weeks, so I'm not really too worried if I don't make loads from it, but I would like some Xmas spending money too

The material quality is pretty good - Boots and Ethel Austin 'basics' (obviously not ultra great) and colourfast after a couple of washes with like colours.

NQC - I'm glad you said that about the usual bland colours - that's what inspired me to do something different, and they always get admiring comments when my baby daughter wears them.
