Knitting the Clangers...

I have the book..
I have 2 very excited children that want Clangers...
I refuse to buy Rowan for a childish whim...

I'm looking at Stylecraft and cannot decide if the Pale Rose or the Magenta is the best match.....
The Rowan wool specified is Tea Rose......

Help me choose...

It is based on the original series and so the Clanger outfits are a bit different... (DD has just had a weeny meltdown because Small is wearing the 'wrong' outfit.....)

I meant to say I am registered with BBC tickets for shows and they have just emailed me a Clangers pattern (sorry I can't link)

The book I have has a knitted Soup Dragon pattern. The scales are felt.

DD wants a Skymoo.........

My book has no pattern for a Skymoo....

The only thing different about the Clangers in my book to the modern ones are the colour of the outfits. A bit of footling will soon make Small the right colour to please madam.....

But if anyone finds a pattern for a Skymoo I would love a link!
