Hiya

Failry new to this site & very new to scrapbooking.

Really want to have a go but lost as to where to start.

Could anyone advise on what I need to get going or if there are any books out there just to give me the basics?

thanks

Best to go to a class to start with, ask at your local shop

Hi there!

There is a really good website which id dedicated to Scrapbooking, called UKScrappers - here is a link .

It is quite a big site but there is lots of information there which I hope you will find useful. In particular, the library section contains a lot of reference material as to the main techniques. The gallery is also good for inspiration and there are lots of topics on the forums section which are great for a newbie. There is a handbook for UKS which if you post saying you are a newbie, someone should be able to link you to.

Also worthwhile getting is one of the scrapbooking magazines, which again contain useful beginner's guides as to how to get started!

Hope this helps! But happy to answer any other questions you might have
