Where to buy a zip

I am making a bag which needs a 41cm medium weight metal teeth closed ended zip
I can't find one- not on Amazon (all dressmaking ones I need a bag) not in Hobbycraft not in our local fabric shops.
Does anyone know where I can find one please?

Ebay is good and cheap for zips

Do you have a local department store with a haberdashery department?
Here I would go to John Lewis, Fenwicks or Boyes - I'm not sure what you have local to you.
Or the factory fabrics warehouse that I discovered on a random industrial estate - not reliable but they have all sorts.
One try www.jaycotts.co.uk/collections/zips

Or here

I don't think there would be any difference between a dressmaking zip and a bag zip. A zip is a zip after all?

Ebay has what I wanted so thank you
Any non-ebay retailers for the future would be great
The question of zips is durability and the effectiveness of the pull tab a bag needs something of slightly heavier weight

Ok. That is useful to know.
