Why can't I be motivated?

I love all things crafty, but I never seem to get round to doing them

I started learning to knit this time last year, and I haven't touched it since March... DS's head is so small still though that the hat I started him will probably still fit

How do you all actually do it??? I tend to get sidetracked by books

I lack that initial inspiration for a novel... would love to write one if I had something to write about!!!

DH wants me to write kids books... going with the theory that JK Rowling has made a small fortune

Right... gonna clear my diningroom so I can use the sewing machine and make the nappy I've been threatening for weeks

Had a bit of a lull in the motivations stakes too!!!

I have a few card orders and beady bits to make and instead I spent 30 minutes this morning knitting!!! I suppose knitting is my crafting routes, gave it up a few years ago really after having the children.

Time will always get the better of me as crafting always seems to get shoved down the priority list.
Keep teling myself I will be organised this Christmas too!!!

I suppose you have to dedicate a set time for crafting into your weekly plans..otherwise it never happens.

Good luck.

How about a little dealdline challenge??
Perhaps a weekly list of crafty things to do, put up on here for all to see.

I have been really lax of late too. But I find if soemthing asks you for something - it gives you a kick to get you going. I've not made any cards for ages but I really should - I've gone back to beady jewellery & also knitting (but only basic stuff!)
