Macrame

I would like to get into macrame - larger items eg wall hangings rather than jewellery and smaller items.

Does anyone else do this? I am looking for recommendations for where you buy supplies, preferably online in the UK.

I want to make plant hangers. I've been looking for metal rings all year. Who would know they are so hard to find!
