anyone have this month's K&C and crochet?

I don't normally crochet but doing a good job with a pattern from this month's K&C but something isn't right. I don't know if it's me or the pattern. could someone help please?

I don't have it but am happy to try and help. Do you have a picture of the bit that isn't working out? Have you checked the magazine's website/blog for errata?

I've worked out the problem now. They assume you're making both versions which is an odd way of doing instructions. Thanks for the offer though
