That's it really.

I'm not artistic at all, but I would say I was creative.

I love card making but generally get bored quite quickly.

I can hand sew and pick up most things easily.

What can I do to be more crafty?!

Hand quilting (Google English paper piecing) - time consuming, but low cost because if you want you can use up all sorts of scraps of pieces of outgrown clothes etc to make heirloom quilts. If you like card making, you've probably got a good eye for colour and composition so might enjoy choosing the design and colours for a quilt (or cushion cover to start with?!)

Other thought is book binding, if you prefer working with paper?

Cross stitch or crewel work kit.

I do a lot of things, knit, sew by hand and machine, embroidery, weaving.

My artistic talents are zero, positively zero. I am a perfectionist and very good at following instructions so I can follow a sewing pattern and make something beautiful, same with cross stitch and anything else - with instructions.

My imagination is severely lacking, always has been. In fact I read some old school reports recently. Even at aged 8 my teacher wrote "lavender's artistic endeavours have not been terribly successful" Grin.

No change at all, but I can make lovely things, I just use books and/or patterns and/or kits.

I am a mathematician, I see a sewing pattern as a geometry puzzle.

I like knitting but find it so slow compared to sewing. I weave and hand sew.

You just need something with instructions to follow to begin with, once you have narrowed down your options to something that you actually want to do.

If you like papercraft how about scrapbooking? I prefer it over card making because you generally have a bigger space to work with and I work with photographs, so I have the joy of remember where the photo was taken etc. Very relaxing and a lovely way to display photos.
