any recommendations for something to while away the evening browsing on Pinterest?

It's a bit late to cut anything out now to play with my dad's machine.

Thank you! Just made a cuppa before bed so that'll keep me busy until bedtime Smile

I am on a self imposed no sew for another week as I have got so much studying to do.

I haven't joined Pinterest (not on Facebook or any other social media either).

Can someone tell me what the point of Pinterest is, is it just a public notice board for a person's ideas or is it something else entirely old and clueless.

I use Pinterest purely as a notebook to pin ideas of things to make. Sometimes I browse through someone else's boards if they have re-pinned something I pinned or if they appear in the assortment of boards that appear when I log on to Pinterest.

Craftgawker caused me to pin loads of stuff. I had to stop looking at it.

I just use it for ideas & to while time away.

I did find some fancy dress things last night to make though - mermaid tails amongst them Grin

I like the Oliver+s boards, and Clothkits, on Pinterest.

I love Pinterest. I use it as a visual bookmark system. I'll save tutorials for different techniques or free patterns.

However, it can become addictive as you jump around looking at other folks' ideas . But that way I have found some wonderful blogs with some great people.
