I had to buy them, I was so curious and they sounded good

but my god they are plasticy.

I am just sooo grumpy. I might actually have to send them back.

They do take some getting used to, I guess. I used mine for a while, but they don't come in small enough sizes ...

What were you used to using before?

Flamesparrow · 28/10/2006 17:17

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I have no idea what they are, but you sound so miffed.

taMummy · 28/10/2006 17:19

Oh no There's no getting away from their plastickiness really. I'm very sorry

I am used to wood

and not just wood

the finest wood known to humanity

(lantern moon)

oh what a difference. It is like knitting with those bendy straws that go in juice cartons.

Pruni, no, I cannot in all conscience sell them to anyone. They are the work of the devil. Straight up.

(its not your doing tamum-don't woryy-I had my heart set on them anyway. This will teach me to be headstrong and foolish)

Oh they look fabulous, but, um, expensive...

Well Christmas is coming!

FillyjonkthePumpkinEater · 28/10/2006 21:19

you sound detemined, pruni

I was like that once

before these needles arrived and I lost the will to live

WHY can't anyone do wooden circulars in a set WHY WHY WHY? (yes tamum, I know, cost but still...god, people spend this sort of money on yarn so...

I think it's probably more of an engineering problem than a cost problem- I just don't know if you'd be able to have robust connections with wood. If you could figure out a way to do it you could make your fortune I reckon, I bet people would spend lots of money on a Lantern Moon equivalent of a Denise set.....

LS, email me- I am here all week
